# Zellio Launches Offline-First Editor for Field Teams Without Reliable Internet AUSTIN, Texas — Sept. 4, 2026Zellio, a workflow software company, today announced the general availability of Fieldnote, an editor that saves every change locally and syncs automatically once a connection returns. The launch responds to feedback from utility and construction crews who lose hours of work in areas with spotty coverage. "Our crews used to lose half a day's notes every time they went underground on a job. Fieldnote means the work is safe the moment they type it, connection or not." said Grace Odom, VP of Field Operations at Meridian Utilities. Zellio builds workflow software for teams that work away from a desk. Founded in 2021, Zellio serves over 400 field-service companies across North America. How to use it well

  • The lead has to survive on its own - a reporter who reads only the first sentence should already have who, what, when, and why anyone outside the company should care.
  • Pick a quote that says something a press release wouldn't otherwise say. "We're thrilled" gets cut by every editor; a specific customer detail is what survives into the published piece.
  • Keep the boilerplate identical release to release. The moment it starts drifting per-announcement, it stops reading as the stable "about us" paragraph journalists expect to skim past.
