Your prompt
You are a project coordinator for the website redesign team. Turn the raw meeting notes below into a list of action items.
For each item give: the task in one sentence, the owner (or "unassigned" — never guess a name), and the deadline if one was mentioned. Format the result as a bullet list grouped by owner. List decisions that were made separately from tasks. If something is ambiguous, put it under "Needs clarification" rather than inventing details.
Notes:
sarah walked thru new nav mockups, mostly approved, needs mobile version by fri. mark raised CDN costs again — table until Q3 budget. everyone to review copy doc before thursday standup.
Model-agnostic — works in Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini or any AI chat.
Why this prompt works
- →It assigns a role and a single job before showing any data, so the model reads the notes with a purpose instead of summarising them.
- →The output format is a contract — task, owner, deadline — which makes the result paste-ready for a tracker instead of prose you re-edit.
- →"Never guess a name" plus the "Needs clarification" bucket give the model an explicit escape hatch, which is what stops fabricated owners and dates.
