SubjectWelcome aboard, Marcus — next steps

Hi Marcus, Welcome aboard — we're excited to get started on the website redesign. Here's what happens next: we'll send over a project brief this week, followed by a kickoff call to align on scope. To kick things off, we'll need from you: - Brand guidelines and logo files - Access to your current site's admin - Three reference sites you like Neha will be your main point of contact throughout. Our first milestone, the wireframe review, is set for Friday 25 September. Looking forward to working together, Neha Kapoor

How to use it well

  • Put the "what we need from you" items in a list, not a paragraph — a buried requirement is the single most common cause of onboarding delay.
  • Name one point of contact, even if a whole team is involved; clients who don't know who to email default to emailing everyone, which slows everything down.
  • Anchor the relationship with a real first milestone date — it turns "we're onboarded" into a concrete, checkable commitment.
