SubjectOut of office until Monday 28 September
Hello,
I'm out of office from Monday 14 September to Friday 25 September, back on Monday 28 September, with no access to email in that time.
For anything that can't wait:
- Client and invoice questions: Priya (priya@example.com)
- Anything urgent on the Meridian project: Dev (dev@example.com)
I'll work through messages in order when I'm back — if it's still relevant then, no need to resend.
Thanks,
Sam
How to use it well
- →Name the return date, not just the range — "back on the 28th" is the one fact every sender is looking for.
- →Route by topic, not to one catch-all colleague: two named contacts with clear lanes prevents your cover becoming a second inbox.
- →"No access to email" only if it's true — an auto-reply that claims absence while you answer VIPs teaches everyone to ignore the next one.
