Is it safe to print my WiFi password as a QR code?

The code contains the password in plain text, so anyone who can photograph it can extract it. That is fine for a guest network on a café table; it is not fine for your main network in a public place. Use a separate guest network where you can.

WPA/WPA2 for essentially every current network — the same setting covers WPA3 in practice. Only choose WEP for genuinely ancient hardware, and 'none' for a truly open network with no password.
